Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the World Tennis Together platform ("WTT", "the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Use in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

The Platform is open to junior tennis players (aged 10 and under) and their parents or legal guardians. By registering, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and up to date.

Children cannot register directly. A parent or legal guardian must create a "Parent" account and add the child's profile. By doing so, the parent or legal guardian:

  • confirms they have parental authority or legal guardianship over the child;
  • consents, on behalf of the child, to the collection and processing of the child's personal data (name, date of birth, gender, nationality and competition history) by WTT, in accordance with our Privacy Policy;
  • takes full responsibility for the accuracy of the child's profile and compliance with these Terms.

WTT reserves the right to delete any child profile where parental authority cannot be established or where these Terms have been violated.

3. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Any activity carried out under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

WTT reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.

4. Tournament registrations

Registrations are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellations by the participant — You may cancel your registration up to 72 hours before the tournament start date directly from your profile page. After this deadline, cancellations are no longer possible and no refund will be issued.

If your registration has been confirmed (payment received), cancellation within the permitted period entitles you to a full refund to your original payment method, processed within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. If your registration is pending (payment not yet completed), cancellation incurs no charge.

Cancellations by WTT— WTT reserves the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule a tournament in the event of force majeure, insufficient registrations, inclement weather, facility issues, or other circumstances beyond its control. In such cases, WTT's liability is limited to the provision of credits or transfers to another event; refunds will be considered at WTT's discretion. WTT shall not be liable for any travel, accommodation or other costs incurred by participants in connection with the cancelled or modified event.

5. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. WTT does not store any payment card information. By completing a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service (opens in new tab).

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform (text, images, logos, graphics) is the exclusive property of World Tennis Together or its partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Any reproduction or use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of liability

WTT operates as an organiser and facilitator of junior tennis tournaments. WTT is not responsible for any injury, accident, loss or damage sustained by a participant during or in connection with a tournament. Participation is at the participant's own risk. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child is medically fit to compete.

WTT's liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Platform or a tournament shall in no event exceed the registration fee paid for the relevant event. WTT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of enjoyment, whether or not WTT has been advised of the possibility of such loss.

WTT shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, civil unrest, pandemics, or failure of third-party services (including Stripe or email providers).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes WTT's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law are not affected by these Terms.

8. Modifications

WTT reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by English law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer residing in a European Union member state, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, which cannot be excluded by contract. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable local law.
